AFCO Stockcar shocks from Motorsport Warehouse are available in two model options, the AFCO 14 series and the AFCO 10 series. These numbers are the first two numbers of any AFCO Stockcar shocks part number to help identify which series you have # eg 1494 or 1094. Both are quality  SNZ Stockcar legal twin tube design racing shocks. Both are basically the same dimensionally so directly interchange with each other mounting and travel wise. Both use the same AFCO Stockcar steel coil kits with no need for spacers or adapters. Both are available in all the popular "Stockcar" valving option, although the 10 series has a wider range of  special valve options if you want to experiment more. 

AFCO's 14 series Stockcar shocks are built with a 9/16" diameter shaft and are good value for money with the second most accurate and consistent valving performance out of any Stockcar legal shocks we have seen. The AFCO 10 series Stockcar shock has a heavy duty 5/8" diameter shaft and has by some margin the most accurate and consistent valving performance of any Stockcar  legal shock we have ever tested.     

AFCO 10 Series Steel Sealed Body Twin-Tube Shocks offer performance, durability and value, these shocks deliver the AFCO performance advantage lap after lap.

AFCO 10 Series Steel Body shocks can be mounted in any position without affecting performance.  This allows you to mount the shocks "up-side-down" to save unsprung weight and give your suspension quicker reaction.

Compression and rebound valving numbers remain the same whether the shock is right-side up or upside down.
